Proposed Protected Area & The Candidate Protected AreaAbove the Proposed Protected Area is shown at left and the Candidate Wilderness Area as initially identified by N.S, Environment is shown in yellow at right. Note that several blocks of crown land in the NSE Map, colored green, are not included but were included in the Proposed Protected Area. Several of those areas are actually or potentially parts of important wildlife corridors between wild lands on the peninsula or between the Chebucto Peninsula and the mainland. (See Corridor Maps.)
